Construction is chaos, and chaos loses money. I chose to operate deliberately instead. The result: in a career full of stormy times, I'm the only contractor I know who can say he has never lost money on a project. That isn't luck. It's a systematic – a deliberate – approach to managing the work.
That approach became the SCPM Framework. This software is that framework, made operational.

How the two became one
Building SCPM Project is what created SCPM Construction Accounting.
As we built the construction-management platform, one truth kept surfacing: operations and the books can't live apart. The generic accounting packages the industry leans on weren't built for how contractors actually work – so we built the one that was. What started as the financial backbone for SCPM Project became a complete construction accounting system in its own right, strong enough to stand alone.
